Call for papers – MAE 2010

The 4th annual Military, Defence and Aerospace Electronics Conference (MAE2010) – the UK’s only dedicated event on embedded computing and integrated electronic systems for military, defence and aerospace applications, has issued a call for papers. The papers can cover a broad range of educational topics, with abstracts to be emailed to jfoster@mae-show.com by Friday 4th June 2010.

Call for papers – ESE Kongress

It’s sometimes easy to focus too much on the latest exciting new chip or hardware announcement and forget that embedded systems typically have more software than hardware engineers. I’m grateful that I’ve get to work with wonderful software clients such as Programming Research, and am always keen to see publishers and event organisers treat software as a priority.

It’s even better when we can say that the Europe leads the way, which is definitely the case for the Embedded Software Engineering Kongress. The organisers of this event, MicroConsult und ELEKTRONIKPRAXIS, confidently tell me that, with over 600 visitors expected for this year’s event, is the leading embedded software event in the world.

If you want to participate in the ESE Kongress, you need to submit an abstract online by 14th May.

As Johann Wiesböck, Editor in Chief and Publisher of ELEKTRONIKPRAXIS tells me, "Software is the future…"

Call for papers – IP-SOC 2010

Now in its 19th year, IP-SOC has issued a call for papers. The event will be held in the beautiful French Alps on 30th November and 1st December 2010, and if you want to be in Grenoble you’ll have to get your submission in by 15th September 2010.

The conference is organized within 4 tracks that provide a wide range of insights from academic gurus presenting their ideas for the future to companies trying to sell products today. The four tracks are:

  • The Panel track addressing hot topics
  • Technical papers addressing the issues related to IP-based system design and in the Embedded System arenas
  • Visionary scientific seminars
  • The exhibitor track, offering sponsored speaking opportunities for companies

Call for papers – MAE2010

The organisers of the Military, Defence and Aerospace Electronics Conference (MAE2010) have issued a call for papers. This year the event will be held on 30th November 2010 at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre in Reading, UK, and will cover a broad range of topics relating to embedded computing and integrated electronic systems for military, defence and aerospace applications.

Call for papers: Embedded Live

Electronics Weekly and EE Times Group, the organisers of Embedded Live, have issued a call for papers. The conference and exhibition will take place at Earls Court, London, on 20th to 21st October 2010, and they hope to run more than 40 classes in 50-minute, 90-minute, 2.5-hour, or full day formats.

Abstracts are use by 7th May, and information on how to submit is available on the Embedded Live website.

SPS/IPC/DRIVES call for papers offers €1000 for presentation from best young engineer

SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2010 has issued a Call for Papers that cover topics including automation, industrial communications or drives. To encourage more young engineers to participate, an award will be to the best paper from an engineer less than 36 years old. It’s great to see that the prize is not just a trophy: the winner will receive a cash award of €1000.

Submission is via the show website, and proposals must be received by 26 April 2010.

Call for papers – SAME and SAFA

The organisers of the SAME 2010 Forum and the SAFA 2010 Workshop have issued a call for papers.

SAME invites technical papers covering System and Design; Integration; Security; Tools and Methodologies; Process and Manufacturing; Prototyping;  Verification; Validation; or Test, whereas the SAFA 2010 Workshop focuses on techniques around formal analysis.

Abstracts must be submitted by 17:00 CET on 19th April 2010, and full submission details are available on the website.

Call for papers – Embedded Conference Scandinavia

The fifth annual Embedded Conference Scandinavia will be held on 19th to 20th October, and the organisers have issued a call for papers. Proposals are invited that cover hardware design, system development, software implementation or a project case study. Submit your proposal to Lars Johan Larsson before 15th May to ensure you have a chance to participate!
